The seasons change pretty fast up here in the Adirondacks. After a busy first season, we're shuffling some things around in the boatshop to get ready for the next projects at hand -- boat-related and shop-related. Shop improvements are still underway and soon we'll even have an office in which to catch up on paperwork!

Good news for us! Boatbuilder Alex Fee officially joined Reuben and Sean in the boatshop earlier this Fall. Alex comes to us from Rockport Marine, the internationally-renowned boat yard in Rockport, Maine, where he honed his skills, working on some of the world's most beautiful yachts.

And lastly, we recently launched the two 1926 Sound Inter Club racing sail boats, restored as a matched pair. Only 28 of these boats were built and only five of the original remain today. Here are two of them, fully restored, quietly racing on a brisk October afternoon. The Sound Inter Clubs (iSc) were raced and sailed on Long Island Sound throughout the late 20s and 30s. As many as 10 of them were brought to Lake George in the 1940s.
